On May 6, 2024, 25-year-old Tyrel Emmit Minor was fatally shot in an apartment on Holden Drive in Greenville, North Carolina. Responding to reports of gunfire shortly after 5:00 p.m., police arrived to find Minor deceased from a gunshot wound. Present at the scene was his wife, 30-year-old Khadijah Edwards, who was promptly taken into custody.
