Death by Force

On the evening of May 6, 2024, at approximately 7:45 p.m., Shelby Police Department officers responded to reports of gunfire in the 600 block of Live Oak Street in Shelby, North Carolina. Upon arrival, they discovered 62-year-old Sarah Chambers lying in her front yard with a gunshot wound.
