Karón Lasha Bernice Barrow, a 21-year-old African American woman, tragically lost her life on February 20, 2010, in Shelby, North Carolina. Karón, affectionately known as "KK," was born on January 28, 1989, in Teaneck, New Jersey. She was a beloved member of her community, known for her vibrant personality and her role as a loving mother to her two daughters.
