On August 5, 2024, at approximately 8:11 p.m., Raleigh Police Department officers responded to reports of a shooting in the 700 block of Navaho Drive, near Interstate 440 North. Upon arrival, they discovered 32-year-old Angel Cirilo De Leon Andrade suffering from gunshot wounds. He was immediately transported to a nearby hospital, where he succumbed to his injuries the following day.
