On August 13, 2024, at approximately 8:00 a.m., officers from the Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Department (CMPD) responded to a welfare check call in the 14000 block of Wynhollow Downs Lane, located in the Ballantyne area of Charlotte, North Carolina. Upon arrival, they discovered 17-year-old Aryan Singh Jaswal inside a vehicle. Tragically, Jaswal was pronounced dead at the scene by MEDIC.
