Carnis Ferdinand Poindexter, a 53-year-old male, was tragically shot and killed on the front porch of a residence in the 8300 block of Highlander Court in Charlotte, NC, early on January 1, 2019. He was found suffering from gunshot wounds and was pronounced dead at the scene by MEDIC. Authorities believe Poindexter was shot in the street in front of the residence before running to the porch, where he ultimately succumbed to his injuries.
