On August 24, 2024, in Clyde, North Carolina, 41-year-old Perry Andrew Bryson was fatally shot at his residence on Leslie Drive. Emergency responders arrived to find him with life-threatening injuries; he was transported to a nearby hospital but succumbed to his wounds the following day.
