Kareen Jabbar Stevenson Jr., a 19-year-old African American male, tragically lost his life on June 13, 2022, in Statesville, North Carolina. The incident occurred during the early hours of the morning when the Statesville Police Department received a shots-fired call near Fifth Street and Newbern Avenue.
