On April 13, 2024, at approximately 5:28 p.m., a tragic incident occurred in Salisbury, North Carolina, resulting in the death of 26-year-old Shaleek Jaqwon Williams. The Salisbury Police Department responded to a shooting at Jersey City Park, located at the intersection of Miller Street and Club House Drive. Upon arrival, officers discovered Williams had sustained a gunshot wound.
