On the night of September 8, 2024, at approximately 11:15 p.m., Mooresville Police Department officers responded to reports of gunfire at the Meadowlark Glen Apartments, located near the intersection of Highways 115 and 150 in Mooresville, North Carolina. Upon arrival, they discovered 20-year-old Clifton Cornelius Vandiver Jr., a resident of Concord, suffering from multiple gunshot wounds.
