Marquise Leon Dalton, a 24-year-old African American male, tragically lost his life on October 11, 2014, in Mooresville, North Carolina. The incident occurred near Statesville Avenue and Ashe Street, where Mooresville Police Department and Mooresville Fire-Rescue responded to a call at 12:13 a.m. regarding two victims with gunshot wounds.
