On the evening of September 15, 2024, a tragic incident unfolded in Wilson, North Carolina, resulting in the deaths of two brothers, Colby Ryan Lucas, aged 23, and his older brother, Jared Charles Lucas, aged 24. The Wilson Police Department responded to a reported shooting at 2706-B Byerly Drive around 10:39 p.m. Upon arrival, officers discovered both brothers lying just inside the front door, each suffering from gunshot wounds.
