On the evening of September 20, 2024, in Fayetteville, North Carolina, 25-year-old Shareek Donquale Taylor was fatally shot in the 1900 block of Smith Road. Deputies from the Cumberland County Sheriff's Office responded to a 911 call at approximately 9:22 p.m., discovering Taylor deceased at the scene.
