On the morning of October 30, 2024, 29-year-old Richard Walter Henderson IV, an employee of Loomis Fargo, was fatally shot during an attempted armed robbery in Kings Mountain, North Carolina. Henderson, a resident of Charlotte, was servicing an ATM outside Prescriptions Plus Pharmacy on East King Street when he was approached by an assailant and shot multiple times. Despite immediate medical attention, he succumbed to his injuries at the scene.
