Sedrick Bernard Hartgrove, a 30-year-old African American male, tragically lost his life on June 4, 2015, in Kings Mountain, North Carolina. The incident occurred in front of 700 West Gold Street, where Hartgrove and another man, Sherman Devante Addison, were shot.
