Quitonio Ellis, a 27-year-old African American male, tragically lost his life on August 18, 2019, in Kings Mountain, North Carolina. The incident occurred at the Summerfield West Apartments on West Kings Street near Atrium Health Kings Mountain Hospital. Ellis was found dead at the scene, while another man, who has not yet been identified, was rushed to CaroMount Regional Medical Center with serious injuries.
