On the morning of November 2, 2024, at approximately 7:55 a.m., officers from the Winston-Salem Police Department responded to a reported shooting at 1449 Peace Court. Upon arrival, they discovered 36-year-old Lomark Dean Cameron suffering from a gunshot wound to the upper torso. Despite immediate lifesaving efforts by officers and emergency medical personnel, Cameron was pronounced dead at the scene.
