On January 27, 2023, 29-year-old Earl Thomas was fatally shot during an altercation at a Sunoco gas station on Culver Road in Rochester, New York. The incident occurred around 8:30 p.m., when police responded to reports of a shooting at 1416 Culver Road. Upon arrival, officers found evidence of a shooting but no victim at the scene.
