On May 29, 2023, 18-year-old Shanye Mootry of Greece, New York, tragically lost her life after being caught in the crossfire of a shootout in Rochester. The incident occurred in the early hours in a parking lot behind the Anthony Jordan Health Center on Holland Street, where a large gathering had convened.
