On July 7, 2023, 13-year-old Miracle Y'Vonne Hunt was tragically shot and killed near Broadway and Mortimer Street in Buffalo, New York. She was not the intended target but was caught in the crossfire of a dispute between two groups. Miracle had just left a house party with friends when a single shot was fired into a group she was part of, striking her in the head and resulting in her immediate death.
