In the early morning hours of a spring day in Buffalo, New York, a tragic event unfolded that claimed the lives of a mother and daughter, leaving a community in shock. Megan Ramos Wisniewski, a 27-year-old female, and her 63-year-old mother, Margie Ramos, were fatally shot inside their home in what police later described as a domestic incident. The violence that erupted on May 19, 2021, not only took two lives but also left a young child without her mother and grandmother.
The incident
began to draw attention when police responded to a call of shots fired in the city's Black Rock neighborhood. Upon their arrival at the residence, they made a grim discovery: the bodies of Megan and Margie. A six-year-old girl, Megan’s daughter, was also found inside the home, physically unharmed but having witnessed an unimaginable horror. Neighbors reported being awakened by the sound of gunshots and seeing a man flee the scene in a dark-colored vehicle, setting off a manhunt.
