On May 9, 2024, at approximately 1:39 PM, the New York City Police Department (NYPD) responded to a 911 call reporting a shooting near 174th Street and Davidson Avenue in the Morris Heights neighborhood of the Bronx. Upon arrival, officers discovered two individuals, a 24-year-old male and a 22-year-old female, both unconscious and unresponsive, each with a gunshot wound to the head.
