Death by Force

On the evening of July 31, 2024, 30-year-old Ericka Brown was fatally shot in her residence at 11 Charles Street in Schenectady, New York. Responding to reports of a shooting around 8:21 p.m., police found Brown with a gunshot wound to her head; she was pronounced dead at the scene. A man in his 40s, suffering from a self-inflicted gunshot wound to the head, was also found at the location and transported to a local hospital in critical condition.
