Ayanna Hunter, a 21-year-old resident of Schenectady, NY, tragically lost her life on May 27, 2019, during a Memorial Day weekend gathering at the Hillcrest Village Apartments in Niskayuna. The event, which was intended to be a festive occasion, turned deadly when a confrontation escalated into a fatal shooting.
