In the quiet hours of an August evening in Schenectady, New York, Jennifer Ann Ostrander, a 31-year-old mother of seven, was enjoying time with friends on her porch. Her life, which she had dedicated to her children after overcoming personal struggles, was abruptly cut short on August 2, 2020.
