On the morning of September 9, 2024, 46-year-old Denver Bernard was fatally shot outside his residence near East 216th Street and Laconia Avenue in the Williamsbridge section of the Bronx. At approximately 7:45 a.m., Bernard was waiting for a friend to pick him up for work when a dark-colored vehicle approached.
