A male resident of the borough, Williams was shot multiple times near the Pomonok Houses on Parsons Boulevard in Flushing. According to Williams' mother, the fatal encounter began when a man allegedly groped his girlfriend.
She called Williams, who then confronted the individual to defend her. During this confrontation, the assailant produced a firearm and shot Williams three times. First responders from the 107th Precinct found him with gunshot wounds to his left shoulder and abdomen.
