On November 9, 2024, 63-year-old Geraldine "Geri" Krecmer was tragically shot and killed at the Coach-n-Four Apartments on East Main Street in Jefferson Valley, New York. Yorktown Police responded to multiple 911 calls reporting gunfire around 9:38 p.m. Upon arrival, officers found Krecmer lying on a walkway in front of one of the units, deceased from a gunshot wound.
