On January 1, 2023, at approximately 2 a.m., 32-year-old Akeem Lorenzo White was fatally shot in the 8800 block of Blewett Avenue in Jennings, Missouri. Responding officers from the St. Louis County Police Department's Jennings Precinct found White deceased at the scene from a gunshot wound.
The St. Louis County Prosecuting Attorney's Office promptly charged 33-year-old Darrell Davis of St. Louis with second-degree murder and armed criminal action in connection with White's death. Davis
