In the autumn of 2019, the life of 17-year-old Caleb Smith was tragically cut short by gunfire in St. Louis County, Missouri. A junior at Jennings High School, Caleb was found shot in an alley off Strathmore Place near West Florissant on the afternoon of October 23, 2019. The community was shaken by the violence, as residents reported hearing a barrage of gunshots that afternoon.
