On January 6, 2023, 33-year-old Troy Millick was fatally shot outside PrideStaff, a staffing agency located at 11984 Dorsett Road in Maryland Heights, Missouri. The incident occurred shortly before 12:30 p.m., when a masked individual entered the business and announced a robbery. After the initial confrontation inside, Millick confronted the assailant in an alley behind the establishment, where he was subsequently shot.
