In the early morning hours of January 29, 2023, an altercation at a BP gas station in Cool Valley, a municipality in St. Louis County, escalated into a tragic and violent end for 18-year-old Devon Williams. The young man, a male, was at the gas station located at 1780 South Florissant Road, just north of Interstate 70, with the intention of purchasing a small amount of marijuana.
