On January 30, 2023, 20-year-old Thomas Lewis was fatally shot in Kansas City, Missouri. Police responded to reports of gunfire near Meyer Boulevard and Swope Parkway around 1 a.m. Upon arrival, they discovered Lewis inside a vehicle near East 55th Street and Cleveland Avenue, suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. Emergency medical services pronounced him dead at the scene.
