On April 29, 2023, 21-year-old Malachi Brown was fatally shot while riding a MetroLink train in St. Louis, Missouri. The incident occurred around 10 a.m. near the Maplewood-Manchester station. According to police reports, Brown and 69-year-old Terry Alexander were seated across the aisle from each other when a verbal altercation ensued.
