On June 19, 2023, 20-year-old Marquis Delvon Kindred was fatally shot in Kansas City, Missouri. The incident occurred around 2:45 p.m. in the 1900 block of Mersington Court, where officers found two men with gunshot wounds in front of a residence. Both victims were transported to a hospital; Kindred succumbed to his injuries, while the other individual sustained non-life-threatening injuries.
