On December 16, 2023, at approximately 11:40 a.m., Kansas City, Missouri, police officers responded to a medical call in the 4400 block of Garfield Avenue. Upon arrival, they were directed to a residence where they discovered 41-year-old Eric Hayden unresponsive, suffering from a single gunshot wound. Paramedics pronounced him dead at the scene.
