On December 20, 2023, 43-year-old Brandon Cotton was found fatally shot in a parking lot in the 7400 block of West Florissant Avenue in Country Club Hills, a suburb of St. Louis, Missouri. Police responded to reports of a shooting around 6 a.m. and discovered Cotton deceased at the scene from an apparent gunshot wound.
