In the early morning hours of March 20, 2024, the life of 45-year-old Willie Spencer was cut short in a fatal shooting in Kansas City, Missouri. The incident, which is being investigated as a homicide, unfolded just after 5 a.m. near the intersection of 38th and Wyandotte streets.
Responding to a call of shots fired, which was upgraded to a shooting while they were en route, police officers discovered Spencer unresponsive in the middle of the street.
