On March 20, 2024, at approximately 5 a.m., Kansas City, Missouri, police responded to reports of gunshots near West 38th and Wyandotte streets. Upon arrival, officers discovered 45-year-old Willie Spencer lying unresponsive in the street, having sustained two gunshot wounds. Emergency medical personnel pronounced him dead at the scene.
