On March 24, 2024, 18-year-old Davion Laron Linear was fatally shot in north St. Louis County, Missouri. Around 11:30 p.m., officers responded to a ShotSpotter notification in the 10800 block of Lilac Avenue, where they found evidence of a shooting. Shortly thereafter, Linear arrived at a local hospital with gunshot wounds and was pronounced dead.
