On September 1, 2024, 18-year-old Martinez Ursery Jr. was fatally shot in his residence on Auburn Drive in Jennings, Missouri. Responding to a call at approximately 3:20 p.m., St. Louis County police found Ursery with a life-threatening gunshot wound to the head; he was pronounced dead at the scene.
