On October 4, 2024, at approximately 8:30 p.m., Kansas City, Missouri, police responded to reports of a shooting near Drury Avenue and East 20th Street. Upon arrival, officers found 30-year-old Rommel U. Nolasco-Manuelez lying in the street with gunshot wounds; he was pronounced dead at the scene.
