On January 4, 2023, at approximately 2:41 p.m., Woodbury Police Department officers responded to reports of a shooting near Franklin and Wallace Streets in Woodbury, New Jersey. Upon arrival, they found 21-year-old Brandon L. Blanton suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. Blanton was immediately transported to Cooper University Hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
