In the early hours of a Saturday morning in Woodbury, New Jersey, the life of 21-year-old Tijere K. Jackson was tragically cut short. Police were called to Wing-Dickerson Park on Carpenter Street shortly before 1:30 a.m. where they discovered Jackson. He had sustained a single gunshot wound to his chest and was pronounced dead at the scene. An autopsy later confirmed that the cause of death was the gunshot wound, and the manner of death was ruled a homicide. Jackson was a male.
