In the early hours of a Monday morning in Newark, New Jersey, tragedy struck 22-year-old Jamid Hardgrove. On May 22, 2023, at approximately 12:10 a.m., police responded to reports of a shooting on the 100 block of Riverview Court. Upon arrival, they discovered Hardgrove suffering from multiple gunshot wounds.
