In the late afternoon of October 3, 2023, chaos erupted near the intersection of Broadway and Rosa Parks Boulevard in Paterson, New Jersey, when gunfire shattered the day. When the shots ceased, 23-year-old Jerrell Wright, a male from the nearby town of Riverdale, was found inside a vehicle, having sustained fatal gunshot wounds to his chest.
