On the night of the Fourth of July in Trenton, New Jersey, Amir Williams, a 32-year-old male, was fatally shot. The incident occurred around 11:30 p.m. in the 800 block of Stuyvesant Avenue. When Trenton police arrived at the scene following reports of a shooting, they discovered Williams on the ground with multiple gunshot wounds to his torso. He was rushed to Capital Health Regional Medical Center but was pronounced dead a short time later.
