In the quiet community of Bridgeton, New Jersey, a devastating event unfolded that claimed the life of 51-year-old Detective Sergeant Monica Mosley, a respected member of the Cumberland County Prosecutor's Office. On the night of October 15, 2024, officers were dispatched to Mosley's residence on Buckshutem Road following reports of a home invasion. Upon arrival, they discovered Mosley suffering from a gunshot wound. Despite immediate attention, she succumbed to her injuries at the scene.
