On November 3, 2024, at approximately 10:00 p.m., Glassboro police responded to a report of a deceased male near the railroad tracks between Glassboro High School and Bowe Elementary School. Upon arrival, officers discovered 27-year-old Glassboro resident, Oscar Guerrier, who had sustained fatal gunshot wounds to the head and upper torso. The Gloucester County Medical Examiner's Office later confirmed the manner of death as homicide.
