On May 24, 2023, 54-year-old Brian Chambers, a well-known traveling tattoo artist from Petersburg, Virginia, was found deceased in a room at the Budget Motor Inn on Jamestown Road. Chambers, who owned "Bad Monkey Tattoo" and was affectionately known as "B-Train," was discovered with a fatal gunshot wound.
