A 49-year-old man, Julius Brown, was the victim of a homicide in Richmond, Virginia. In the early morning hours of a Sunday in October 2023, police were dispatched to the 1500 block of Columbia Street following a report of a shooting.
Upon their arrival at 6:31 a.m., officers discovered Brown inside a pick-up truck. He was in the driver's seat and unresponsive, having sustained what was described as an apparent gunshot wound. Medical personnel pronounced him deceased at the scene.
