Death by Force

On October 15, 2023, at approximately 6:31 a.m., Richmond Police officers responded to a report of a person shot in the 1500 block of Columbia Street in Richmond's Southside. Upon arrival, they discovered 49-year-old Julius Brown unresponsive in the driver's seat of a pickup truck. Brown had sustained an apparent gunshot wound and was pronounced dead at the scene.
